Concentric Coiled Tubing — DualCT®

DualCT® (Dual Coiled Tubing) technology focused on improving cleanout efficiency and data acquisition, with Jetting/Suction and Venturi (Suction) operating modes.

String configuration

Outer tubing 2-3/8” and inner tubing 1-1/4”.

Key features

  • Requires lower pump pressure to achieve full cleanout effects.
  • Fluid path creates a spiral vortex that agitates and removes debris from the tubular wall, supporting cleaning performance.
  • Interchangeable head; can be easily replaced for different injection/replacement actions.
  • Modes: Cleaning (Jetting/Suction) and Venturi (Suction).
  • Hydraulically activated, avoiding extra runs and time for mode changes.
  • Compact design, easy assembly/disassembly; configuration allows adding other service tools.

Applications

  • Well testing: with the well fully clean and CTSVTool® in Venturi (Suction) mode, the well is induced to produce.
  • Well testing: enables measuring oil production by sections of interest in the well.
  • Slotted liner / screens internal cleaning: solids removal.
  • Slotted liner / screens internal cleaning: emulsion removal.
  • Cleanouts for water or gas blockages.
  • Removal of solids, carbonates, and asphaltene precipitates.
  • Integrity analysis: helps determine issues in the hanger or in the slotted liner.
  • Granulometric analysis to determine failures in the slotted liner (performed at Longkeda laboratory).
  • Data capture: possibility of capturing P&T in memory.
  • Saturation logging technology (QUAD NEUTRON) used in horizontal wells via Coiled Tubing.
